Tony has been working hard on his swing over the past few months. In the past Tony has struggled with inconsistent ball striking. After initial analysis, we found that Tony had a 'reverse pivot'. This is when the left hip drops below the right hip in the backswing, which results an inefficient movement of the body away from the target in the downswing.
As you can see in the 'before' picture, Tony's left hip has dropped considerably lower than the right. The K-Vest showed us that it was 19 degrees lower.
Now that Tony is in a better position at the top of the backswing, we are working on the correct sequence of body rotation in the downswing.
